About
Hello! I'm Eos, and I'm looking for something long-term, literate, and historical.
A little about me as a writer:
• Character development and world building are incredibly important to me; I want you to feel intimate with my characters and find yourself lost in the world we've created.
• I tend to favor plots with copious amounts of angst and personal conflict; as my roleplays usually deal with darker themes, I am only looking to write with people 18+.
• Style: Long-term, literate, 3rd person – multi-para/novella (~500-2k+ words, depending on where we are in the story. I tend to favor shorter replies when partaking in dialogue-heavy interactions. I'm not picky about the length of your reply, though; quality over quantity, and all that jazz.
I've also taken part in roleplays where we have a longer, "main" thread and then drop and start short scenarios on the side. This is definitely something I'd consider doing again!)
• I always play side characters and am open to doubling if it can enhance the story we're telling. I love intricately woven plots and character dramas, regardless of the amount of "POV" characters.
• Availability: I will not be able to reply daily. With my work schedule, my goal is at least once a week, but more than often I’m capable of a quicker turnaround (~2-3x a week). I'm a huge proponent of the "real life first" model of RP; I can wait as long as you need on a reply, and I, in turn, sometimes require that same flexibility. This does not mean our rp won't be a priority, but I want this to be sustainable long-term for both of us.
• Limits: None! Prefer to F2B, though.
Plots
Actively looking:
Regency Era - The bastard daughter of a Duke/Earl is naturalized when it is found out her parents were married prior to her birth. Our story would center around her social debut, and the juxtaposition between a country-born girl who might be a bit too forward with her feelings and a closed-off man who was born and bred into the English aristocracy/gentry.
Outlander-esque -- A time travel plot that revolves around a Regency gentleman and a punk rocker with a bad attitude. It’s about unlikely friends and experiencing the world through someone else’s eyes. I‘m playing around with the idea of adding music to the story — sort of as a way for them to begin to understand each other, the various songs coinciding with certain story beats. The first half of the story would take place in a more modern setting, but from there we can play around with going back in time — to the Regency era or even other time periods! If you’re big into RP playlists and ships, this may just be the plot for you!
I absolutely adore Regency plots, and I have lots of ideas. I'm open to any "slow-burn" plots in this time period, so feel free to come to me with any questions. I'd love to hear what you think!
Maybe even something a bit Outlander-esque? There are so many things I'd love to do in this period!
World of Warcraft - Looking to explore relationships between my Nelf DK and people from her past. To be clear, I'm not looking to write in-game; I'd much rather do a 1x1 set in the Warcraft Universe. I have her bio and personal information at the ready, so message me for details!
Star Wars - I have a female OC I've been looking to write opposite a Kylo Ren. This would be incredibly canon divergent (as far as the newest trilogy is concerned), and the plot would center around the concept of Grey Jedi.

Age of Sail Plot - Our characters grew up together in the English countryside: a gentry boy and a low-class girl, who becomes a housemaid at his family’s Estate. In their teen years, an incident occurs and the girl runs off – never to return again. Ten years later, the boy is now a high-ranking officer in the Royal Navy, tasked with stamping out the threat of Piracy; what he doesn’t know is that she is one of them. I've been playing around with the idea of doing this roleplay in volumes; establishing their relationship and the "incident", before moving on to them reuniting years later.
